Voyage LA Article - Meet Monique Evans of Intuitive Freedom
Today we’d like to introduce you to Monique Evans.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Monique. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I was born and raised here in Santa Monica, CA, and growing up, I always had this desire to escape anything that made me feel entrapped or unable to express myself. I felt very strongly there was ‘something’ within me I needed to share.
I was fortunate enough to work for several global lifestyle brands including Levi’s, Quiksilver, STA Travel & Contiki for 15+ years. I found it uncanny that I always saw critical business developments 3-5 years before they would happen. Early in my career, it was challenging to get management to listen to that insight, understand it, or make the necessary pivots. I would have to carry on and wait for the inevitable. Needless to say, this was incredibly frustrating. The higher up I moved in senior management, the more I realized that even if I strategized for what I could see down the pike, I would still be challenged to convey critical long-term strategies that would go beyond what was trending in the immediate moment in a way that made sense.
Everything shifted in my mid-thirties when my side hustle of exploring spirituality, quantum energy, and belief management opened me up to a whole other ‘awareness’ that had been brewing underneath the surface: the power of intuition and how it works.
I began studying with a Chinese Energetic Medicine doctor on the weekends and found that my intuition had been greatly activated by training with him. I then started facilitating Intuitive Readings & Energetic Healing sessions with the intention of helping others to connect with their higher selves. I offered insights that reintegrated conscious & subconscious energy that was preventing my clients from moving forward in certain areas of their personal and professional lives. The instant shifts that were taking place were quite profound and based on using intuition.
I pivoted my career to become a business and marketing consultant for brands, which allowed me much more freedom in several aspects of my life. More importantly, it enabled me the opportunity to use my intuition in a way that was more accepted (and respected) as well as the opportunity to continue to travel and assist multiple people and businesses simultaneously.
A few of my clients were based in Bali, so I decided to make the move. Living there allowed me to dive deeper into my own awareness, and things started to unfold even more in terms of understanding dimensional reality and its effects. So many magical experiences took place there, but the most profound thing I left with is my dedication to reminding people that We Are All Intuitive; it’s just a matter of if we are using it or ignoring it.
I have since combined my ongoing passion for business and intuition by introducing the Business Insight Session and custom Business Accelerator Programs, providing intuitive insights, aligning business/marketing strategies & developing core brands, services and products for entrepreneurs and companies in a way that is energetically harmonic with the highest vision of themselves individually and the company or business collectively.
The energetic blueprint of you, your business, or company is much greater than we even know. The sky really is the limit…
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I’ve really leaned into my innate curiosity and resistance to authority which has led me to study different aspects of spirituality. This has required some discernment. I always make sure to have an experience of my own to validate something as I am always a bit skeptical of teachings without experiential proof. This has really helped! I don’t speak from knowledge based on reading a book or hearing someone else. I speak from my personal experience of these concepts, which is empowering and what I aspire for my clients.
In terms of my journey, I had what I’ll call a profound consciousness awakening in my 20’s (understanding the matrix and how we are creating our reality), a profound intuitive awakening in my 30’s (experiencing how to use my intuition and confidence in it), and a profound multidimensional awakening in my 40’s (experiencing different dimensions that are affecting our current reality, without the use of plant medicine).
As I explore different aspects of consciousness and my life, I am forced to integrate (heal) my resistance to anything in order to expand and experience more peace in my life and that isn’t always comfortable. Yet having the awareness, tools, and support has allowed me to continue to do so, and for this I am eternally grateful.
Intuitive Freedom – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I started Intuitive Freedom about 11 years ago and named the business after my core values: Freedom & Empowerment.
While I work with a range of individuals on personal and professional aspects of their lives, I mostly work with entrepreneurs, managers and executives by tuning in (intuiting) and sharing a behind-the-scenes look at their business, resolving all challenges and aligning them with their goals. What we sometimes forget is that business is personal. So we pick the construct that is most motivating to the individual to work within, which is usually freedom in their lives professionally, making more money, rising within their organization, etc.
During our sessions, we get as specific as possible, answering all questions about their challenges, business strategies, teams, processes, products, goals, you name it. And since time doesn’t exist in a linear sense, we are able to explore individual goals on a whole other level and connect the individual to their subconscious belief system in order to help them achieve their goals with much more ease. Quantum time and space are truly amazing.
I also work with businesses on a monthly retainer and support senior management or a senior employee. They get the insights and strategy to validate their own plans and/or to find out if there’s something they hadn’t seen themselves or they may have suspected but weren’t sure about. This is all done in confidence and under NDAs, of course.
I’ve been told that I have a no-nonsense and grounded approach to delivering the esoteric data I receive, and clients leave sessions in a place of confidence, clarity, and validation. One of my main differentiators is that I’ve worked in all aspects of business for large brands prior to stepping into this field of embracing my own intuitive gift. I love working with both my left and right brain and sharing how energy is affecting us, how it is showing up in our day-to-day lives, and, more importantly, what we can do to shift it.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success for me is defined by my day-to-day actions and how aligned they are with my core values. I’ve found that if I’m struggling with anything it’s a sure-fire way to tell that I am out of alignment with one of them. I also feel it’s important for us to prioritize and live out our joy, whatever that is. As an avid traveler, snowboarder, yogi, nature explorer, and beach baby at heart, I always prioritize these activities, along with BBQs & bonfires with family and friends, as pursuing your passions should be the foundation for all other activities.
