Conversations with my (higher) self

This one is dated from a few years back, but as we know divine knowledge never goes out of style. Apparently I only had a napkin to log this convo. as it must have been "unplanned'.  On this day I was struggling with something and was quite frustrated.
Here it goes -
ME - I can't believe I chose to come back here (this life). And to what? Suffer? It's lame!
HS - Are you suffering?
ME - Yes
HS - Ok, good. Now what?
ME - I want to feel good.
HS - Ok, but that seems to go against your goal to suffer. So when you feel good the part of you that actually wants to feel suffering will mess it up.
ME - FUCK! What do I do?
HS - Decide you actually came here (this life) for something else. Like, having fun?
ME - Sure...why not. BUT, people won't take me seriously then.
HS - You think they do now?
ME - Probably not.
HS - Ok then, who cares?
